Winterizing your pool

We have closed many pools in our years here at PoolThoughts.com...., but never went through the trouble of making a video about closing a swimming pool!!!!

From Winter chemicals, to gizmos, this video actually covers the basics very well, and although, I'm not overly impressed with the swimming pool products available at Lowes, they do seem to have made a good video here!

Closing a pool should not be difficult, and will get easier every year!



Winterizing pools always has slight variations, and is BEST done by your local pool store, but this is a decent point of reference!

Personally, I always blow the lines out with a shop-vac in reverse in order to clear the lines, but that's preference.
